DNC CONVENTION:
The Old Bill Clinton is Back!

Billclinton

"Yes He Can, But First We Have to Elect Him!"

The President Clinton who we all came to love was on stage tonight!  His speech was outstanding!  Only seconds after his speech began, President Clinton immediately and unequivocally threw his support behind Barack Obama.  He also did a wonderful job of laying out what is at stake for America and its citizens.  And family, MUCH is at stake!!

While some of us may agree with a few issues of the Republican or conservative platform, voting on single issues alone is dangerous!  Yes, dangerous!  We must look at the entire platform of a given candidate or political party.  While we may be happy with a candidate's position and/or performance with regard to a single issue, that happiness will not sustain us - as collective Americans - if our basic human rights and freedoms continue to be stripped and eventually eliminated, if more and more people around the world see us as enemy rather than friend, if the majority of Americans lack access to healthcare because it finally became too expensive (and it will), if only the rich and well-connected have access to quality schools, jobs, homes, neighborhoods, and so on.

None of the candidates are perfect, but this year, there is one candidate and one party that is right on a MAJORITY of the issues, not just a single one or two.  That candidate is Barack Obama and that party is the Democratic Party!
