Senator John McCain has a new attack ad out and this one is just as "special" as the crowds showing up to his rallies lately. With important issues such as health care, the economy and unemployment rates on the minds of most Americans, you'd expect the ad to speak to how Senator McCain proposes to lead us out of the crisis, right? Wrong, terribly wrong!
Take a look at the new ad and let me know if you got the same "message" that I did.
Here's the message that the Sauda Voice got:
- Barack Obama is a terrorist ("When convenient, he worked with terrorist Bill Ayers.")
- Minorities are to blame for the state of the economy ("Congressional liberals fought for risky sub-prime loans." The term sub-prime is commonly used to signal "minority.")
- Whites are the ones suffering at the hands of minorities (coded language "sub-prime" loans combined with camera zooming in on young, white woman as voiceover artist says, "Housing market collapsed, costing YOU billions).
McCain is no longer America's Maverick.
